CRUSH IT
I just completed Gary Vaynerchuk's "Crush it!" for the second time. The book has many great ideas and insights about the power of Social Media. Social media will have a greater impact on society than the printing press. Some people really get this and others (to my amazement) do not.
The Power of Networking
This is a photo our first Arden Arcade Successful Thinkers Meet-up in October 2009. We meet every Wednesday Morning at 7:00 Am to 8:30Am. We Network for 45 minutes and then have a speaker share ideas on how to improve our business. Most of speakers talk about using Social Media Platforms
and the vast opportunities that are available to each of us. Our group has grown to over 50 attendees each week. We have out grown our venue at the Arden Dimmick Library and need to find a new location. I would like to see the group get up to 150 attendees per week. I believe the reasons that the group has grown so much is:
1. We meet every week same time same place
2. It is a free and open group
3. No rules requiring attendance or leads
4. Great awesome speakers sharing valuable content
5. Heavy promotion using Facebook Events, Meet-up and Successful Thinkers Web pages
When we find a larger venue, I would like to advertise on the Radio, I believe this group will a powerful force to help the local businesses and economy in the Arden Arcade Area.
